We are looking for a CAD Designer for a company currently executing a large infrastructure project in Stockholm. You will play a vital role in the flow between design and installation. If you are driven by following up and ensuring that projects are executed correctly, we have the position for you.

Who are we looking for?

• At least 1 year of experience in infrastructure and construction design
• Understanding of installation, experience in assembly work, general interest in installation
• Experience from large project installations
• Competence in BIM and information coordination
• Good understanding of work methods and models
• Good system proficiency such as MS Office, ProjectWise, AutoCAD 3D, EWA
• Good knowledge of technical Swedish and English
• Driving license B.

We are looking for someone with a good technical aptitude and some experience in project management, which gives you an understanding of how work is planned, followed up, and driven forward. You have a strong ability to create structure and can handle large amounts of information without losing overview or quality. Accuracy is a natural part of your working method, and you pay great attention to detail while planning and managing your time efficiently.

As a person, you are patient, responsive to changes, and flexible in your way of working. You are communicative and enjoy collaborating with others while taking personal responsibility for your tasks. You show clear commitment to your work, take initiative when needed, and have a strong desire to learn new things and develop in the role.

What does the role entail?

• Based on approved documentation, divide work packages to respective operational areas.
• Depending on the system, break down into smaller space packages to facilitate installation groups.
• Ensure that the equipment to be installed is available for order and enter the equipment into the system.
• Check and review that all components have been handled before entry into the system.
• Break down the material list based on the equipment list.
• Enter component IDs based on system and equipment.
• Enter documentation, assembly drawings, and lists.
• Check off complete work packages, transferring the information to the Installation group.
• Coordinate with Installation regarding the prioritization of work packages.
• Collaborate with BIM to monitor the completion of documentation and document changes in a structured manner.
• Continuously conduct site visits to understand completed installations and document them photographically.
• Take necessary initiatives, driving the work to success based on the timeline and installation order.

You will belong to a team where everyone works together and supports each other in the problems that arise in everyday life. You will be part of a team with other designers/constructors and report directly to the Project Manager of the design team.

The position starts as a consulting assignment via 2Complete until the end of the year, with good opportunities for extension or takeover by the client.
