We are looking for a sub-project manager and an assistant sub-project manager for an assignment at the Swedish Transport Administration in Malmö.

The assignment is a full-time consultancy role and can be carried out in one of the following ways:

• by one (1) sub-project manager who occupies the assignment at 100%, or

• through a combination of a main responsible sub-project manager and an assistant sub-project manager, where the assignment is distributed between the roles according to an agreed extent.

The assignment involves close cooperation with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and collaboration skills.

The Assignment

The role involves responsibility as a project manager focusing on handover coordination throughout the project's lifecycle – from early stages to completed project. The assignment includes management, coordination, and follow-up of smaller and medium-sized action projects, with a focus on planning, finance, documentation, and communication between involved parties. The work is carried out in close collaboration with internal and external actors and may also include support for maintenance activities and knowledge transfer to the organization's employees as needed.

Responsibilities

Act as project manager and handover coordinator from early stage to completed project

Work with forecasting management and time and resource planning

Communicate and coordinate with clients, designers, and contractors

Participate in projects such as rail, track, and switch replacements as well as alternative routes

Assist, support, and relieve project managers with production planning in BAP, BUP, and MPK

Have a coordinating function for other consultants

Prepare technical and administrative documents for maintenance contracts

Prepare project calculations in consultation with managers

Participate in and support coordination of design and production

Check and document the work performed by contractors

Call, lead, and document construction meetings and similar meetings

Follow up on contractors' work

Review and follow up on invoice documentation

If necessary, assist maintenance departments within the area of operations according to the specified workload

Ensure knowledge transfer to the organization's employees regarding performed tasks

Requirements (IMPORTANT, mandatory)

Sub-project Manager with main responsibility for the assignment

Ability to express oneself well in Swedish in both speech and writing

Experience from working in project groups where coordination has been important.

Driver's license B.

At least 3 years of work experience as a project manager in the relevant technical area (Project Manager General Railway). The work experience should not be older than 10 years.

Knowledge of laws and regulations as well as standards and directives in the relevant area.

The consultant must have completed BASÄSKYDD

The consultant must have experience from at least 5 railway projects as a handover coordinator with at least 80 million SEK in total turnover. The projects must be completed, with an approved delivery plan and approved handover.

The consultant must have worked as a handover coordinator for 2 track replacements. The projects must be completed, with an approved delivery plan and approved handover.

The consultant must have experience from at least 5 railway projects as a handover coordinator with approved delivery plans within M-BEST and channelization. The projects must be completed.

Must have completed training to function as the client's construction work environment coordinator, BAS-P and BAS-U

Assistant Sub-project Manager

Ability to express oneself well in Swedish in both speech and writing.

Experience from working in project groups where coordination has been important.

Driver's license B.

At least 1 year of work experience as a project manager in the relevant technical area (Project Manager General Railway). The work experience should not be older than 10 years.

Knowledge of laws and regulations as well as standards and directives in the relevant area.

Meritorious

You have experience as a handover coordinator within the Swedish Transport Administration maintenance.
