Summer Substitute as Personal Assistant in Östersund
Personlig Assistansförmedling i Jämtland ABJämtlands län, Östersund
Previous experience is desired
Are you looking for one of the best jobs in the world? A job with many summer days off even though you work up to full-time? A flexible job where you feel that YOU make a big difference for another person?! A job with many opportunities, but without stress? Then you should apply for a job with us as a PERSONAL ASSISTANT!
We are currently looking for someone interested in being a summer substitute for a man in his 40s living in central Östersund (ref. 4-26, which you should mention in your application so we know which assignment you are applying for).
As a personal assistant, you will help with what the man says he needs assistance with, i.e., with what he cannot do due to his unique disabilities. With your help, life becomes full of possibilities! :) The man has his own car that staff drive, so having a driver's license is good but not a requirement. He enjoys most things related to engines, movies, music, and walks, so you are welcome to share those interests.
Working hours can be around the clock (morning 9 AM to the next morning 9 AM with sleeping duty) or day shifts from 9 AM to 5 PM or evening shifts from 11 AM to 5 PM from June to the end of August, but everything is planned in agreement with you. Some double staffing may occur.
You will of course receive more information during an interview!
Please note that you MUST be fluent in Swedish so you can understand each other. Experience with disabilities such as CP injuries and assistive devices is a merit but absolutely not a requirement, as one learns such things quite quickly! The most important thing is that you get along with each other, which you can try and feel during the introduction with a very experienced colleague.
Interested? Apply now by emailing your CV/personal letter - don't forget to mark your application with ref no 4-26 so we know which assignment you are applying for :) Start date according to agreement - please also indicate any wishes such as your own vacation directly in your application.
For all assignments with us, the following applies;
- Thorough introduction and training before starting
- Regular further education
- Educational meals/snacks at work
- Health allowance of 4,000 SEK/year/full-time employee
- Regular staff meetings
- Health checks every 3 years for those who wish
- Collective agreement via Fremia - Kommunal, which for those over 40 years means a higher vacation compensation compared to many other collective agreements for personal assistants
- Occupational pension
- Occupational injury insurance
- Parental benefit supplement
- Sick insurance
- Group life insurance via KP for you and your family
Please note that your application may be read by the man and his representative, as well as possibly by other personal assistants and staff in the office.
We will keep your application for 2 months, after which it will be shredded. If you want your application returned, please state that directly in your application/email!
