RESPONSIBILITIES

The group for Operational Specialists consists of specialists in the IT field, and the goal of the position is to support projects and assignments within the authority with operational knowledge and contacts to achieve set effect goals. This means that as a Technical Specialist in IT, you may work on projects that have security technical implications but are not driven by the IT department.

In the role of Technical Specialist in IT, you are very self-driven, planning and executing the tasks assigned to you in the projects you are part of. The role has a strong focus on change management, developing processes, planning, and conducting various types of work meetings and workshops. As a project resource, you work to capture and refine the operational needs within the projects you are part of. Your role is to incorporate the operational perspective as well as the paths and tools that can be utilized for project progress. The analyses you conduct in the project help to develop business cases that form the basis for decisions on implementation. Projects you are involved in can vary greatly in nature, from planning/preparatory to being pure implementation projects.

Travel is included in the position as tasks and service performance may require you to be physically present in the core operations and/or the headquarters in Norrköping.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• Academic education or other training combined with experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service deems relevant
• Training in project management/assignment management
• Training/certification in change management
• Several years of well-regarded relevant experience working on projects with a security technical focus
• Experience working with operational development and process work within the IT field
• Experience in change management
• Ability to express oneself well in spoken and written Swedish
• Driver's license (B)

It is meritorious if you have:

• Education in IT or local systems that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service deems relevant
• Training/certifications in ITIL
• Experience working in the core operations of the Swedish Prison and Probation Service
• Worked on IT projects involving multiple operational branches
