The Municipal Executive Office provides effective and professional support to elected representatives, service and management to departments, and direct service and information to citizens in Nybro Municipality in certain specific activities.

The IT unit is undergoing positive development and is in need of IT technicians for helpdesk/support. We offer a position that provides support and assistance to all of the municipality's departments and companies. The workgroup operates based on trust and respect for one another, and here the community and development opportunities are good. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an IT technician, you are an important part of the municipality's IT unit and work in the helpdesk providing technical support, maintaining IT equipment, and ensuring that the municipality's digital work environment functions effectively. You are often the first on-site for technical issues and play a central role in creating a safe and functioning IT everyday life for the municipality's employees.

Main job responsibilities:

  • Helpdesk
  • Provide support to users via phone, email, remote control, and on-site.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, phones, and other IT equipment.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords in Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
  • Perform troubleshooting and resolve technical issues in the client environment.
  • Participate in the rollout of new systems, upgrades, and projects.
  • Document cases, solutions, and procedures in the case management system.
  • Collaborate with other IT roles to ensure a functioning whole.
  • Contribute to information security and follow applicable guidelines and policies.

QUALIFICATIONS

It is advantageous if you have worked with similar tasks in previous employment.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.
