About Svealandstrafiken
Svealandstrafiken is a limited company owned by Region Västmanland and Region Örebro Län. We plan, deliver, and develop public transport by bus. Together with our owners, clients, and partners, we create business-oriented community benefits and contribute to a sustainable and vibrant society with the passenger in focus.
The bus traffic we perform operates under our owners' two different brands: VL in Västmanland and Länstrafiken in Örebro. We operate urban, regional, and school traffic in both counties. Our unique concept is based on the fact that the transport assignments assigned to us are combined through traffic in our own management and contracted subcontractors. Thanks to our model, we can optimize traffic in a qualitative, business-oriented, and sustainable way.
Svealandstrafiken has over 1100 employees. With us, people from all over the world come together, and in our diversity, community, drive, and innovation are born. And even though we are not satisfied yet, we are proud to be among the companies in the industry with the highest proportion of female employees. Together, we build a successful organization based on our shared values: collaborative, value-creating, engaging, and responsible.
