Noraskogs parish is looking for an engaged and responsible church caretaker who wants to contribute to a well-functioning and welcoming church community.

As a church caretaker, you play an important role in the daily work of the parish and help create safe, dignified, and pleasant environments in our churches and community centers.

Responsibilities

The work is varied and includes, among other things:

• Serving at worship services, church ceremonies, and other events
• Preparing churches and venues for activities
• Cleaning and maintenance of cemeteries, churches, and properties
• Outdoor maintenance such as supervision of cemeteries and outdoor environments
• Collaboration with priests, musicians, other staff, and volunteers

Working hours may be scheduled for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is practical, service-oriented, and has good teamwork skills
• Is responsible, structured, and has a good demeanor
• Enjoys varied tasks and can work both independently and in a team
• Has basic computer skills
• Has a valid driver's license (B)

Previous experience in similar work is an advantage but not a requirement. Personal suitability is highly valued.

Employment type: Permanent with a 6-month probationary period.

The employer is Noraskogs parish. The workplace is Hällefors-Hjulsjö congregation.
