About the position

Björkviks care home in Höör has 28 care places divided into special housing (SÄBO) and short-term care. Our clients have varied psychiatric issues including psychosis, anxiety, personality disorders, neuropsychiatric disorders, often in combination with substance abuse. At Björkvik, we primarily work with a foundation in CBT.

As a summer substitute with us at Björkviks care home, you will work where there is a need, across our various departments. Your tasks will vary between managing the ongoing work in the departments such as providing support to clients through presence and conversation, driving, assisting during meals, medication management, following up on activities from implementation plans, and documentation.

The position involves 100% work during days, evenings, and weekends.

About the employment

Hourly employment can start immediately and can lay the foundation for summer substitutes with the possibility of extension.

Salary will be according to agreement and other compensations will be according to collective agreements.

Start immediately as an hourly employee, or alternatively starting in the summer.

Who are you?

You are educated as a nursing assistant, social educator, social worker, treatment educator, or other post-secondary education that the employer deems equivalent. It is desirable that you have experience in similar work within comorbidity. Good system familiarity is important as documentation occurs to a large extent. A manual B driver's license is required.

As a person, you are responsible, relationship-building, flexible, stress-resistant, and secure. In the role, it is important that you show great empathy while also having the ability to set boundaries when needed. A good approach is of utmost importance. The work involves close and trusting collaboration with your colleagues, and you therefore have good communication and collaboration skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. A criminal record extract will be required before employment.
