Job Responsibilities

As a coordinator for property and construction information, you will be the heart of our information management for the entire Västmanland region's building stock. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth and accurate deliveries of construction information to and from our management systems. The role also includes driving the development of efficient processes and routines that ensure optimal information flows from projects to management.

Staying updated with the latest industry trends through environmental monitoring and active participation in networks is a natural part of the job. Your knowledge will be crucial for us to stay ahead and ensure that we have the processes in property and construction information required to meet a growing investment volume.

Management of drawing models, drawing archives, property information, and document management is a central part of the job responsibilities. Together with colleagues in management, projects, and operations, we actively work to contribute to ensuring that our routines and information deliveries function and are quality assured from start to finish. In larger construction projects, you will support externally hired BIM coordinators.

You will work closely with all three units: project, management, and operations, as well as with external parties and other managements within the region. The need for upgrades and innovative thinking, as well as the implementation of various parts of the technical solutions we use, will be a central part of the assignment.

About the Workplace

Region Västmanland owns a property stock of approximately 450,000 square meters (BTA) that is managed, developed, and operated by Regionfastigheter. The stock mainly consists of healthcare facilities and includes two acute hospital areas (Västmanlands sjukhus Västerås and Västmanlands sjukhus Köping) and two local hospitals (Västmanlands sjukhus Sala and Bergslagssjukhuset in Fagersta), several health centers, psychiatric clinics, folk high schools, and administrative offices. Your workplace will be in Västerås at the Management Unit. The Management Unit currently has 14 people with competencies in property and technical management, system administrators, CAD, and administration. Regionfastigheter includes a management unit, a project unit, and an operations unit. A total of about 90 people work here.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a university degree in property, construction, IT, or equivalent education deemed suitable by the employer for the assignment. You have basic knowledge of property databases and IT structures. You have experience in model and drawing management or BIM, property systems, and information security and are ready to take on new challenges. Then this is the job for you.

The willingness to develop processes and routines, as well as being a good planner and organizer, is important in the role.

We value a customer-related approach, and your personal qualities will be highly regarded. A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement. Since the job involves many contact points and relationships, you are an outgoing team player with sensitivity to others in professional contexts.
