About the role

As an estimator, you are a key person in our acquisition work. You are responsible for producing accurate bid calculations with careful quantity calculations. You lead the estimating work within the project all the way to production start and contribute to the company’s profitability through careful analysis, risk assessment, and cost optimization.

You work together with internal clients and are part of a competent team where collaboration and knowledge sharing are central parts of everyday life.

Responsibilities

• Lead the estimating work in bid projects
• Establish and quality assure quantity calculations, pricing, and overhead calculations
• Identify and document conditions, risks, and opportunities
• Present and hand over calculations before bid review and production start
• Stay updated on market prices, production methods, and technology
• Gather and evaluate quotes from subcontractors and suppliers
• Collaborate with project managers, purchasing, production, and external suppliers
• Develop and improve estimating routines and tools by following up completed estimates against actual outcomes
• Contribute to a safe working environment and adhere to the company’s values

We are looking for someone who has

• At least 3 years of experience as an estimator
• Relevant university education or engineering degree
• Experience in construction production, preferably in earthworks and civil engineering
• Good knowledge of construction technology, AMA, MER, and contract law
• Knowledge of materials, quality, and environmental standards
• Very good ability to read and interpret drawings and technical descriptions
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and laws
• Knowledge of earth and utility works
• Experience working with MS Office, Bidcon/MAP, and Bluebeam
• Driver's license B
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
