About the roleAs a Project Manager – planned maintenance, you will lead maintenance projects from order to handover to the Management, who is your client. The projects are primarily of a construction service nature but may also include reconstruction after major fires or water damage.

You are responsible for ensuring that projects are conducted according to Mimer's established renovation and damage processes and have overall responsibility for time, technology, economy, quality, legal requirements, environment, energy, and relationships with both customers and contractors. The role involves independent work with close collaboration with colleagues in Operations and Management.

Typical tasks

• Order and coordinate contracted consultants and contractors within the framework of Mimer's agreements

• Establish, follow up, and revise project agreements and schedules

• Be responsible for budget, forecasts, and financial follow-up on a monthly basis

• Ensure that projects are carried out in accordance with applicable legal requirements, quality requirements, as well as energy and environmental requirements

• Lead projects from start to finish and ensure a clear and structured handover to Management

• Be a clear point of contact for internal and external parties during the project's progress

Who are we looking for?

• Relevant secondary or post-secondary education, or equivalent work experience

• At least 3 years of experience in project management within construction/construction services or a leading position in construction production

• Documented leadership qualities

• Good knowledge of contract law

• Driving license B and very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• Good computer skills and experience with the Office suite and MS Project or equivalent planning tools

Experience or expertise in energy efficiency, cost estimation, public procurement, and procurement of contracts and materials is an advantage.

As a person, you are a confident and clear leader who creates engagement, participation, and structure in your projects. You work in a planned and methodical manner, have an easy time prioritizing, and keep set deadlines. You collaborate smoothly with others, communicate clearly, and handle challenges and conflicts constructively.

You also have a strong business mindset, with a good understanding of economics, costs, and efficiency, and are meticulous in delivering high quality in every part of the project.

Good to knowThe position is a permanent employment with placement at our headquarters here in Västerås. We work in an activity-based office with the possibility of hybrid work. Start date is as soon as possible, considering any notice period.
