Linjemontage is a modern company in the electrical power industry that carries out contracting work in the field of power supply facilities from 0.4 kV to 400 kV. This can range from complex deliveries of complete transformer stations, deliveries of power lines to the replacement of parts of systems such as remote control, relay protection, etc. Our customers include electricity network owners, industries, and municipal and government authorities. Linjemontage has offices and operations throughout Sweden as well as in Norway and a branch in Croatia. We have over 390 employees. Since 2019, Linjemontage has been part of Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd.

In this role, you will have an overall grasp of land planning and land construction. You ensure that things happen – smartly, smoothly, and with quality in focus. Together with colleagues, you drive projects forward and find solutions that make a difference. Of course, you keep track of our common guidelines and policies along the way – but above all, you contribute your engagement and expertise to create really good results.

Responsibilities As a designer and to some extent a project manager for land, you are the one who ensures that our projects stand firm – literally. You are involved from the start and develop smart and well-thought-out solutions for land planning and construction, both in the bidding phase and during the course of the projects. You analyze soil investigations and dimension land structures and produce necessary drawings in close collaboration with primary designers, and where something is missing, you help ensure that the right materials are produced.

You keep track of inquiries and contracts, contribute your expertise to cost calculations, and perform calculations when needed. Sometimes you are on-site to follow up on quality and progress, or to gather experiences for upcoming projects. You participate in meetings both internally and externally, and ensure that orders and materials are handled smoothly.

In addition, you contribute to developing our routines and processes in the area – and take on the tasks needed for the whole to function. In short: you are an important part of making our land projects both safe and successful.

Qualifications We believe that you are fundamentally a civil engineer with several years of experience as a land designer, geotechnician, or structural engineer – or from a similar role where you have worked with land and foundation construction. You have the ability to transform theory into practical solutions. You see the big picture, collaborate selflessly, and thrive in an environment where projects are driven forward together. Experience working according to AMA is an advantage. Location Västerås (preferably) or Karlstad.
