ISS Facility Services is looking for a dedicated and experienced Carpenter for assignments with our client in the automotive industry, which operates in several locations in Sweden. Your primary workplace will be in Köping, but you will also need to perform work at the client's site in Flen.

About the Role

As a Carpenter, you, along with your colleagues, are responsible for ensuring that our client's properties and facilities convey a holistic experience of a safe, attractive, modern, and sustainable workplace for employees and visitors. Examples of tasks include performing renovations and new constructions, repairs, and maintenance work. You will also need to assist with quotes. We prefer that you have a flexible and solution-oriented approach that allows you to help your colleagues in areas such as outdoor environment, janitorial services, property maintenance, and technical operations. We offer a permanent position with an initial 6-month probationary period. A service vehicle is available for travel between the sites in Köping and Flen, but you do not have a service vehicle or travel compensation to and from work.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for someone who has a professional certificate and feels confident in the role of Carpenter as you have worked in the profession for several years. If you have experience in tiling, concrete, and hold a wet room certificate, it is an advantage. You have good social skills and a keen ability to see what needs to be done to drive the work forward independently. You also need to be able to collaborate as the work sometimes takes place in a group. You thrive in the role of company representative and share ISS's desire to deliver world-class service. We believe you are accommodating and positive, and that you find it easy to create and maintain good relationships with both customers and colleagues. We highly value your personal and unpretentious commitment, as well as your ability to resolve arising situations. A driving license (B) is required, and forklift and crane certificates are advantageous. As the job can sometimes be physically demanding, it helps if you are in good physical shape. You need to speak and write good Swedish.
