About the Role

As a Spare Parts Specialist, you will play a key role in creating structure and foresight regarding spare parts related to RKW's machines and maintenance work. You will work closely with maintenance technicians and have a central function in everything from ensuring that practical spare parts management works to purchasing and discussions with suppliers. This may involve urgent purchasing needs when a machine is down or a fault occurs, while you drive a more proactive approach. The right parts need to be available at the right time for planned stoppages, renovations, and larger interventions.

More concretely, the role includes:

- Responsible for inventory, structure, and order in the spare parts storage and shelving system

- Ensure stock levels and availability of critical spare parts

- Place and follow up orders in SAP based on needs in urgent maintenance and planned stoppages

- Check incoming goods and ensure that the right parts are delivered

- Maintain ongoing dialogue with maintenance technicians to quickly find the right spare part in urgent needs

- Coordinate the purchasing flow with central purchasers

- Work on improvements regarding suppliers and purchasing processes with a focus on lead times and availability

About You

We believe you are a person who thrives when you can combine structure, technology, and responsibility in a daily routine where the pace can shift quickly. You have a technical interest and want to understand how machines, spare parts, and maintenance are interconnected. At the same time, you are meticulous and enjoy creating an overview, keeping information organized, and ensuring that things are carried out correctly.

You are also communicative and enjoy working closely with the business. You are not isolated but move around in the workshop environment, talking to technicians and creating an understanding of what is needed and why.

To succeed in the role, you need to be confident in yourself, appreciate direct communication, and be able to maintain focus even when there is a lot going on at once. You dare to ask concrete questions, take responsibility for your area, and can prioritize what is most important here and now.

The following are requirements for the position:

- High school education

- At least 3–5 years of experience in a similar role within mechanical workshops, vehicles, or production

- Very good system proficiency

- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

- Experience with SAP

- Forklift license (B)
