About the role
As an operations and maintenance engineer at Öresundskraft, you will work in the operations center, which is the hub of Öresundskraft's Power Grid operations. The role is both administrative and technical. In the operations center, you will handle incoming operational orders, troubleshooting, and other types of inquiries related to the power grid operations. In cases of major disturbances or many ongoing works in the field, the role in the operations center may involve high workloads and stressful situations. You are responsible for ongoing maintenance work as well as actions for urgent troubleshooting. The job includes working proactively to anticipate faults before they occur, using smart components in the grid and digital systems. You will work in a team with project managers and contractors as the operations representative during new and reinvestments in the power grid. You will have good opportunities to put your own stamp on the role to make it as optimal as possible for the business.
The role is an important part of Öresundskraft's continued investment in the Power Grid, and you will act as a partner to several key partners and contribute to the company's ongoing development.
As an Operations and Maintenance Engineer at Öresundskraft, you will be on call for operations, currently every sixth week, where you always work in pairs. At Öresundskraft, we take safety very seriously and work systematically to integrate it into all parts of the business.
About you
To thrive in the role, we believe you have:
- relevant post-secondary/university education in electrical power, energy, or operations and maintenance
- experience working in power grid or electrical environments, preferably in distribution or transmission
- understanding of applicable regulations and standards (e.g., ESA, ELSÄK-FS, SS-EN standards)
- ability to read and understand electrical diagrams, protection settings, and technical documentation
- experience with measuring instruments, testing, and verification tools
- troubleshooting methods and analysis of disturbance recordings
- understanding of electrical safety and risk assessments and have ESA 14 or equivalent safety training
- Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written

As a person, you are a quick learner, development-oriented, and have a good ability to work in teams. You have strong analytical skills and are good at navigating complex contexts and digital systems. You have a drive and want to deliver quality while maintaining a high level of risk and safety awareness. You should be able to handle stressful and occasionally pressured situations. You enjoy having contact points throughout the organization and have a good ability to communicate factually both internally and externally. You have a natural talent for collaborating with different types of people and areas of interest. You are engaged and proactive in finding sustainable solutions.
Two specializations within the role
