Job Description

Your tasks include basic nursing care for patients, sampling, monitoring vital parameters, nutritional needs, dressing changes, EKG recording, assistance with various procedures, and nursing actions in the form of nursing rounds.

All patients seeking care at the emergency department are assessed and prioritized based on their symptoms, a process known as triage. The nursing assistant plays a very important role in patient care and is part of the care team along with nurses and doctors in the modules. The work is varied, challenging, and stimulating, and you will encounter a wide range of patients.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a strong interest in emergency care and a desire to learn more about the care and treatment of acutely ill patients. You have an easy time prioritizing and re-prioritizing your tasks, are prepared for the unexpected, contribute with humility, and enjoy working with people in various situations. You are a team player, capable of handling a sometimes fast-paced environment. You provide a good reception and can see the individual behind the patient and their relatives in short and intense meetings. We always place great importance on personal suitability when filling our positions.

Requirements

• Nursing assistant with proof of protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare
• Nursing student who has completed semester 4
• Medical student who has completed semester 6
