With service and safety as our foundation, we create first-class experiences for our visitors together – whether you are serving our guests at the visitor centers or answering questions, you contribute to the safety of our environments and keep the visitor in focus.

We are looking for dedicated staff for Ulriksdal's visitor center and China Palace Café for the summer of 2026.

As a visitor center assistant, you will work with typical café tasks, ticket sales, and palace shop items, as well as assist with visitor information. With a high service spirit, you will serve and guide guests. As a visitor center assistant, you will also work in the cold kitchen with the daily production of our offerings.

As a visitor center assistant with special responsibility, you have the same basic tasks as the other visitor center assistants, but you are also responsible for ongoing staff planning during your shifts and lead the daily operations on-site at the respective visitor center. You will work closely with our administration and other relevant departments within the Royal Court.

Qualifications

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Previous café experience and cash handling is a requirement
  • Previous experience in a cold kitchen is an advantage
  • A valid driver's license (B) is an advantage but a requirement for visitor center assistants with special responsibility
  • Training in HACCP is an advantage
  • Alcohol license training is an advantage
  • To apply as a visitor center assistant with special responsibility, documented leadership experience or previous experience in the Royal Court's public operations is required.

Other information about the positions

  • The position is a temporary part-time employment.
  • Mandatory training is included before the season starts.
  • Working hours are scheduled during the day according to a rotating schedule with shifts on weekdays and weekends, based on the needs of the operation.
  • Work may take place at one or more of our visitor sites.
  • You will work longer continuous periods or weekends. Leave cannot be granted during the employment period.
  • Salary according to applicable agreements.
  • The trade unions are represented by Saco-S, Seko, and OFR/S.
