Your mission
Make food a holistic experience and lay the foundation for healthy eating habits.

It is often said that the kitchen is the heart of the home. And that is how we want the kitchen to be experienced in preschool.

Your work will include the usual tasks in a kitchen, cooking from scratch, as well as managing special diets, serving, baking, keeping food warm, and cleaning the kitchen. It is important that you handle food correctly and have knowledge of and can work according to applicable guidelines, both national and local.

What we are looking for in you
You are a trained chef with experience working in preschool kitchens and are interested in being a guest educator on a substitute basis in our kitchens during the absence of regular chefs. If you have a creative streak and see it as important that meals not only taste good but also look inviting, you might be the one we are looking for.

You have knowledge of meal pedagogy, are responsible, proactive, and have great flexibility, as well as being able to collaborate easily but also work independently. You should be able to ensure that children receive a nutritious and varied diet served in an appealing and enjoyable manner. Therefore, it is important that you as a person focus on nutrition and health. We strive to continuously improve our operations, so it is important that you can collaborate with children, staff, and in some cases, our guardians.

You will prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and snacks for about 80-110 children and about 20 educators.

We strive to offer lunch that meets the requirements set by the food strategist in the municipality. Among other things, vegetarian lunch is served several times a week, so we would like you to have knowledge in preparing vegetarian meals. It also includes daily serving of special diets that are equivalent to the food served for the day.
