We are now looking for a kitchen assistant for the school cafeteria at Balderskolan

We are seeking an engaged kitchen assistant who wants to become part of us at Balderskolan.

We serve school lunches daily to about 20 students and staff. Currently, we have a reception kitchen and receive catering for the school lunch from an external supplier.

We offer a pleasant working environment in newly renovated premises on the campus area in Norrtälje.

The position

Your main tasks include preparation for the school lunch, receiving food deliveries, and keeping the kitchen and cafeteria clean and hygienic by washing, drying, and cleaning kitchen utensils and work surfaces.

We prefer that you have experience in school kitchens/restaurant operations.

Your qualities

It is important that you have a good sense of hygiene and can follow routines and instructions carefully. You have a positive attitude, see opportunities, and can work both independently and in a team. You are service-oriented, have the ability to see what needs to be done, and possess good communication skills.

Duration: General fixed-term employment

Scope: Part-time, 5 hours per day

Working hours: Monday-Friday from 09:00 to 14:30

Salary: Individual salary
