Store Cook - Grocery Retail

We work with several nice stores in the Stockholm area and are therefore looking for cooks for various stores in the area.

Your Responsibilities

Preparation of lunch, you will be responsible with other colleagues for the store's hot food buffet as well as for the chilled ready meals. You will be involved in the work of developing and creating our assortment, recipes, and calculations. You are also responsible for food safety - and you are familiar with the regulations regarding the routines and documentation of the self-monitoring program.

You will participate in purchases and share responsibility for the department's economy. You will focus on ensuring that the department meets set goals regarding margins and sales. You will work closely and proactively with other production units in the store to create synergies. You inspire and gladly share your knowledge with our guests in the store when you staff the store's demo counter. The team spirit, joy of food, and energy should reflect on our customers. One of your most important tasks, besides this, will be to reduce the store's total waste.

What We Expect

We expect you to be interested in food, enjoy working with customers, and sales is a prerequisite for the role. We want you to be a trained cook with previous kitchen experience; we see it as very positive if you have a great interest and passion for cooking. As a creator with a strong profitability mindset, you create varied menus that attract customers. Careful planning, structuring, and organizing your daily work in the short and long term is natural for you. You are aware of trends and what customers want, and you dare to develop, try, and renew the assortment and menus.

As a person, you are responsible, action-oriented, have a positive attitude, and are engaged in creating an inspiring store. You should be able to solve problems when they arise and also have the ability to capture and implement improvement suggestions. You thrive in a team and do not hesitate to help where needed.
