Shift Manager for Parkfood and Snacks
We are now looking for someone who is as passionate about food experiences as you are about leadership! While we are known for our winding roller coasters, spinning carousels, and quirky houses, for many of our guests, good food and delicious cotton candy are just as appreciated as thrilling attractions. Therefore, we are now seeking someone who wishes to take on a leading role in contributing to these memorable food experiences in our park! Are you ready to take the next step and be part of the journey to elevate Parkfood and Snacks to new heights?!
As a Shift Manager, you are an integral part of the operation and lead your team. It is a very exciting job where no two days are alike. You will lead and coach seasonal employees and serve as a support for our seasonal Shift Managers, where you contribute to their development in their roles and help deliver world-class guest interactions every time!
Who are you?
As an experienced leader, you are a joyful role model who is clear and attentive. Unlike our seasonal Shift Managers, you will also work outside of the seasons, which means that a lot of preparation and planning work is included in your role. As a leader, you should be confident in your pedagogical skills, as you will educate and develop both your own employees and your Shift Manager colleagues.
As a Shift Manager within Parkfood and Snacks, you are responsible for ensuring that your units meet the financial goals set for each unit. Therefore, we see that you are a goal-oriented person who is good at getting others involved in working towards budget goals and upselling. As a person, you are positive, structured, and responsible. You have good communication skills and are not afraid to jump in where needed, where you are also expected to identify areas for development that you need to act upon on your own initiative.
Parkfood and Snacks consists of a total of 27 units, divided into 8 rotations, about 20 Shift Managers, and about 300 employees. You report to the Area Manager for Parkfood and Snacks. As a permanent employee, you will be a long-term part of the department and are expected to continuously contribute to development, planning, and improvement work. In your role, you will closely collaborate with both your Area Manager and your other Shift Manager colleagues. The role also involves a more overarching and coordinating responsibility for operations throughout the year, not just during the season.

In addition to the above requirements, we also place great importance on your personal qualities! We are looking for a leader who, in accordance with Gröna Lund's leadership standards and our values, contributes to a safe and joyful work environment.
