About the role

The project manager role involves customer and site visits, planning, procurement work, management, and coordination of personnel/subcontractors on our projects. More specifically, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are run with good economics, according to schedule, and that a good working environment and quality are maintained. You will continuously have customer contact, close collaboration with our colleagues, and follow up on project results regarding costs, schedules, and logistics. As a project manager at Purac, you will work towards Purac's and the project's set goals. You will also have the support of a production calculation, our guidance system, and of course support from your manager and colleagues. In the role of project manager, you will be involved in the entire journey from sales/bids and calculation work to execution and final handover of the completed facility to the customer. Projects vary from renovations/additions to new constructions.

Your profile

This job is suitable for you if you have several years of experience in the VA industry and an interest in project management and the mechanical aspects of the facilities. Preferably within the production of water treatment plants, biogas, wastewater treatment plants, or construction of pumping stations, pressure boosting stations, or water towers, or similar operations. Furthermore, we believe that as a social person, you prefer structured working methods, have good collaboration skills, enjoy making connections, and being the spider in the web will fit well in the role of project manager at Purac.

As a person, you are driven to deliver quality in everything you do. If you encounter something you do not already know, you want to learn more about it curiously and purposefully. You have a good ability to communicate with different people, including customers, suppliers, and colleagues, in a clear, effective, and individualized manner.
