JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

At Rödeby Home Care, we work according to a salutogenic approach and strive to see the whole person.

As a care assistant in home care, you will work with care and service efforts in the client's home based on the care plan. This can involve everything from escorting and personal hygiene to daily chores and walks. We work according to Individual Needs in Center (IBIC) and continuously use digital solutions and systems. We are proud to be available for our clients every day of the year, which means we work days, evenings, and weekends. The job includes good dialogue with clients and relatives, close cooperation with colleagues, and health and medical tasks delegated by a nurse.

QUALIFICATIONS

Care Assistant

• Professional certificate from completed and approved care assistant training for high school programs or other approved education. Alternatively, care assistant.
• Swedish language skills and good computer skills
• Documentation is an important part of our work, and you therefore need to master the Swedish language well in both spoken and written form.
• Driver's license B
• Documented experience

It is an advantage if you have work experience in care and support, low-affect responses, and/or clarifying pedagogy, as well as experience with documentation in the Life Care system.

OTHER

Karlskrona municipality works with full-time as the norm and offers 100% employment rate. Working hours are during the day and evening on weekdays and weekends. We work with something called collaboration shifts, which means we can step in and work in other home care groups within our collaboration area if the need arises.
