Answering customer phone calls is an important part of the job, where you should be able to give simple advice, make an initial assessment, book appointments, and in emergency cases, contact the nearest veterinarian. Sometimes you may also accompany the veterinarian as a field nurse.
The district consists of two clinics, a larger one in Älvsbyn and a smaller one in Piteå. In Älvsbyn, the clinic is equipped with X-ray, dental equipment, and surgery for small animals.
You will be stationed in Älvsbyn, but working in Piteå on certain days is part of the job.
