Summer Job in the Kitchen at Malfors Café & Restaurant

We are now looking for an engaged and food-interested person who wants to work at Malfors Café & Restaurant in Ljungsbro during the summer season! This role is suitable for you who are studying in high school, preferably in culinary arts. We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, positive, and enjoys a fast-paced environment. It is advantageous if you live in the Ljungsbro area.

We are a family-owned summer restaurant focused on good food, a great atmosphere, and satisfied guests. During the summer, we have a high tempo and close collaboration in the kitchen. Therefore, we are looking for someone who wants to gain valuable practical experience in a real restaurant environment.

Job Responsibilities

The role of the cook involves you working together with an experienced chef and colleagues to manage the kitchen and cooking. You will prepare for meals and cook the dishes. In the kitchen, you contribute to order, quality, and good hygiene. In addition to kitchen work, the following tasks may also occur:

·       Handle cash register and bar

·       Serve ice cream

·       Serve food

·       Clear dishes and manage the dishwashing area

·       Cleaning

We are looking for someone who:

·       Is studying in high school, preferably in culinary arts

·       Has a genuine interest in cooking

·       Is responsible and enjoys working in a team

·       Is service-oriented and wants to provide a positive experience for guests

·       Is available to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends during the summer
