Do you want a meaningful summer job where you make a real difference in people's everyday lives? Aleo Omsorg is now looking for dedicated summer substitutes for our home care service in Täby Kyrkby for the summer of 2026.

As a summer substitute, you will work in our clients' own homes, providing care and support based on assistance decisions and individual implementation plans. You contribute to security, continuity, and quality of life for our clients while covering for regular staff who are on vacation. With us, you will have an independent and varied job with many social contacts, and you will be part of a dedicated team that always puts the client and quality in focus.

The tasks vary based on the clients' needs and may include:

• Personal care – assistance with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and daily routines

• Social support – companionship, conversation, supervision, and reassuring presence

• Meals – support with preparation, serving, and dining

• Practical support in everyday life – shopping, errands, and light household chores

• Accompaniment – e.g., to doctors or activities outside the home

• Documentation – document performed services according to applicable routines

• Emergency alarms – quickly respond to urgent needs from clients who have alerted us. We work on behalf of Vallentuna municipality and are responsible for both regular home care tasks and handling emergency alarms between 07:00 and 22:00. This means a varied assignment with both planned and more urgent interventions.

The work is both independent and team-based, with support from colleagues and planning teams.

We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in people and wants to contribute with care and commitment.

• Collaborative – you work well both independently and in a team

• Fluent in Swedish – you master Swedish both spoken and written and have the ability to document in a professional manner.

• Age – you must be at least 18 years old to work with us.

Meritorious:

• Care and support education – you have completed or are currently studying in care, support, or social work (e.g., nursing assistant, nurse, occupational therapist, social worker, doctor, etc.)

• Work experience – you have experience from care, support, or service professions.

• Driver's license – you are an experienced driver and can navigate well in traffic to visit our clients in their homes.

• Cycling experience – you are a confident and experienced cyclist.

Working hours and work period

Work period: June, July, and/or August 2026, we require that you can work at least four consecutive weeks (but preferably longer) and there is the possibility of extra work both before and after the summer.

Working hours:

Daytime: 07:00–15:30

Evening: 16:00–22:00

Workplace: you will start from our office in Täby Kyrkby. We prefer that you live nearby to facilitate travel to and from work.

Aleo Omsorg is a family-owned company founded in 2017 that operates in Täby, Vallentuna, Österåker, Vaxholm, and Oxelösund. Currently, we operate in the areas of home care, housing support, and home service.
