Job Responsibilities

At ASIH, we care for seriously ill patients at home but do not perform basic nursing care; this is handled by the patient themselves, home care, or relatives. Our mission is to ensure that patients and relatives receive support during tough treatments, chronic illnesses, and good care at the end of life. We administer infusions, blood transfusions, intravenous antibiotic treatment, injections, take blood samples, handle infusion pumps, etc., in the patients' own homes to promote the best possible quality of life for our patients and their relatives.

We document in the TakeCare journal system and plan care in the Alfa Welfare tool.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed nurse who has an interest in ASIH and palliative care. A B driver's license and driving experience are required. Since our patients come from all parts of the world, we would like you to speak several languages.

We place great importance on personal suitability and highly value qualities such as being responsible, humble, secure in the profession, collegial, curious, and respectful.

Conditions

The employment is a temporary position with a possibility of extension. The work involves day, evening, and weekend shifts. We offer flexibility regarding scheduling. Until the end of September, we also apply our own working time model (point model). The model essentially means a shortened weekly working time of 36.20 hours/week, where you as an employee have a great opportunity to influence the extent of work depending on scheduling. Naturally, we offer individually tailored introductions so that you feel secure in your role.

We Offer

With us, you will be part of a team characterized by job satisfaction and openness. We are a workplace that strives for equal value for all employees, where your opinions play a significant role in our future work. We constantly strive for competence development and knowledge transfer. With us, you are offered, among other things, 5000 SEK in wellness allowance/year, flexible working hours agreement, free healthcare, pension agreement, and vaccinations.

This spring, we will move into newly renovated fresh premises in Solberga, where our specialized inpatient department is also located.

Other Information

As you work in patients' homes, you cannot be sensitive to pets, smoking, and strong odors. The work can also be physically demanding as we cannot always adapt the work environment in others' homes.
