We are now looking for a school nurse who, together with an experienced JENSEN principal, will help start what will become Sigtuna's best primary school (F–9). At the start, the school will have approximately 300 students in grades F–7.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Conduct health conversations and be responsible for health examinations and vaccinations. As a school nurse, you will carry out these tasks and be responsible for duties according to the statutory basic program.
• Basic medical interventions during reception hours are included in our duties.
• The work is primarily health-promoting and preventive and is conducted at the individual, group, and organizational level to support students' development towards educational goals.
• You will be part of the school's student health team where you, in collaboration with other health professionals, contribute your expertise in medicine, health, and care. For us, teamwork in a student health team is crucial, and great importance is placed on personal suitability.
• In your work, with the support of JENSEN's Central Student Health, school doctors, and our other school nurses and school counselors across the country, you will be responsible for planning and organizing your work according to current guidelines for the medical intervention of student health.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with specialist training in district nursing, child and youth care, or school nursing, and preferably some training in psychosocial work.

We expect you to have a good ability for structure and planning. We assume that you are independent, flexible, proactive, enjoy working in teams, and collaborating closely with the school's staff. You have a good and empathetic approach, as well as the ability to build trust with students, guardians, and colleagues. Furthermore, you are responsible and approach your work with great commitment. You care about your own health and would like to work for a company that prioritizes health and well-being.

Employment Form

The position is part-time with a workload of 50% with a start date in August 2026 or by agreement. For this position, we apply a six-month probationary period.
