Receptionist at Vimmerby Camping – The Funniest Job of the Summer!

Do you want to work at one of Småland's coziest campsites, close to nature and just a stone's throw from Astrid Lindgren's World? Vimmerby Camping is now looking for a service-minded and cheerful receptionist who wants to help create memorable experiences for our guests.

About the Position

As a receptionist, you are the face of the campsite. You meet guests from all over Sweden – and the world – and assist them with everything from check-in and check-out to questions about activities and the area. You thrive in a role where the days are varied and the pace can be high at times.

The position runs from June 12 to August 18.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and check in/check out guests
• Handle bookings, payments, and inquiries at the reception and via phone/email
• Provide tips on activities, attractions, and local experiences
• Sell goods and services at the reception
• Ensure guests feel welcome and have a fantastic stay

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who:

• Is service-oriented, positive, and enjoys working with people
• Can work both independently and as part of a team
• Is organized and can handle stress
• Speaks Swedish and English (additional languages are a plus)
• Is at least 16 years old
• Experience in service roles or reception is a plus but not a requirement – the right attitude is most important!
