Are you ready to move in and take care of our hotel while Kalmar sleeps?

Home Hotel is a concept with a simple yet powerful vision: to create a place that feels like home, even when you are away. We offer more than just a bed for the night – we want to create an experience that lingers long after the guest has checked out. A place that is so warm, welcoming, and comfortable that it feels like stepping into your own living room.

We are now looking for a night receptionist for Home Hotel Packhuset in Kalmar who wants to become part of our family.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage operations during the night
• Welcome each guest with a warm and personal approach, ensuring their first and last impressions are unforgettable
• Handle the night operations of the reception, from check-ins and check-outs to bookings and guest inquiries
• Be the guests' obvious contact person and offer assistance, recommendations, and everything that contributes to a homely experience, especially during the night.
• Prepare breakfast in the morning and also set up food for breakfast

This is a permanent position every other weekend, from 10 PM to 7 AM for three nights in a row. The position may be extended if needed.

• You enjoy creating personal meetings and have a genuine interest in making each guest's stay unique
• You take responsibility and carry out your tasks properly so that your next colleague is welcomed by a nice hotel
• You are adaptable, solution-oriented, and approach each day with a positive attitude.
• You work independently and take initiative, while also enjoying being part of a team that supports each other.
• You must be at least 20 years old due to serving permits

Bonus points for:

• Experience working nights
• Experience from hotel reception or other types of customer service
• Experience with Mews or other hotel booking systems
• Enjoying a fast-paced environment and challenges
• Loving to meet new people and take care of their needs and wishes
• Experience with Strawberry or Home Hotel
