At Forenede Care, we are looking for you as a care assistant who wants to work during all or part of the summer at our cozy nursing home Trollängen in Tyresö.

As a care assistant with us at Forenede Care, you will provide good care, service, and support to our residents.

Trollängen is a special accommodation with a total of six departments, 3 for dementia, 2 for somatic care, and one short-term/relief care department focusing on cognitive impairment. Each department accommodates 9-10 residents. Trollängen is located in the quiet area of Trollbäcken, close to buses, shops, pharmacies, and green spaces. It is easy to reach from Gullmarsplan, Stora Sköndal, and Haninge.

In the role of care assistant, you will provide care and support based on residents' wishes and in accordance with applicable assistance decisions, with a strong focus on quality. This includes performing personal hygiene, assisting in meal preparation and serving, responding to alarms, and engaging in social activities. Social interaction may include conversations, games, bike rides, music activities, or similar. You will also perform delegated tasks from licensed staff, such as medication administration and training.

As a summer substitute with us, you have good chances of receiving continued temporary employment or a permanent position after the summer.

Job Description

We are currently looking for several colleagues for part-time summer positions for summer 2026, with a workload of “70-85 %” starting in May-June.

To be considered for the position, you need to:

• Be a trained care assistant or equivalent with experience in elderly care.

• Have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.

We also consider it an advantage if you have previous experience in elderly care and dementia care.

To thrive in this position, you care about your fellow human beings, are good at building relationships, have a strong commitment, and are service-oriented. We work in teams as well as independently, so it is important that you are comfortable in that environment.

Before we offer employment, you must present an unopened extract from the police criminal record. We also require proof of a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or approved work permit from the Migration Agency.
