Do you want to work in a state-of-the-art workshop with a strong player, using world-class technology, modern tools, and a focus on development and well-being? Then the role of service technician at KGK is for you!
ZF Friedrichshafen AG, based in Germany, is a global technology leader that develops and manufactures world-class driveline and chassis components. Their products are used in everything from passenger and commercial vehicles to buses, trains, ships, and helicopters, including gearboxes, axles, clutches, and shock absorbers.

At KGK's ZF department in Sollentuna, a state-of-the-art workshop awaits you, where you will work with world-leading technology, knowledgeable colleagues, and exciting assignments. Whether you have experience from passenger cars, heavy vehicles, marine, construction machinery, or forklifts, this could be your chance to further develop.
Your role with us
As a service technician, you will be part of a strong team where you can delve into advanced technology and develop your craft. Here, you will work with diagnostics, repairs, renovations, and test drives of gearboxes, axles, and other driveline components within ZF's product range.
Your tasks will be both practical and technical, including:
- Working on assignments in our state-of-the-art workshop in Sollentuna, and if necessary, also on-site with customers.
- Handling drivetrains for everything from buses, trucks, and construction machinery to rail vehicles and ships.
- Providing technical support both internally and externally.
With us, you will get the perfect mix of practical work, technical problem-solving, and the opportunity to develop your skills alongside colleagues who are eager to share their experience.
Who are you?
We believe you can come from various backgrounds in the automotive world. Perhaps you are an experienced technician looking to take the next step, or a junior who wants to grow into the role and develop with us. What matters most to us is your curiosity, your willingness to solve problems, and your interest in technology.
We would like you to have:
- Experience in technical work with vehicles, machines, or driveline technology (passenger cars, heavy vehicles, marine, construction, or forklifts. You choose your entry point!).
- An interest in troubleshooting and understanding how systems are interconnected.
- Knowledge of mechanics and preferably hydraulics or electronics.
- Good skills in Swedish and English.
- A valid driver's license (B).
If you also have experience in vehicle electronics, welding, or turning, that is a plus – but not a requirement.
We offer you
We know that competent technicians deserve a workplace that invests in both development and well-being. With us, you will receive:
- A state-of-the-art workshop with the latest equipment.
- Continuous training and opportunities for development, regardless of experience level.
- Exciting technology from world-leading ZF.
- An open, helpful, and engaged team.
- Strong benefits and access to a gym in the building.
- A working environment with good ergonomics and a focus on long-term well-being.
