Danderyd Municipality's newly built short-term accommodation Idun opened its operations in September 2025, and we are now looking for a nurse. Do you want to be challenged and take the next step in your career? Then you should apply for this position today!

The short-term accommodation Idun has 27 apartments for both short-term and respite care, in completely new premises, and the facility has access to a beautiful sensory garden. The accommodation is located in Djursholm with good transport links and parking facilities.

JOB DESCRIPTION

To obtain a short-term placement requires a support decision. Short-term accommodation can be an option after a hospital stay, while waiting for an offer of care and nursing accommodation, if the individual has difficulty managing at home and/or needs rehabilitation after a hospital stay that cannot be provided in their own home.

The short-term accommodation provides respite and short-term care with a rehabilitative and function-preserving approach. Here we work cross-professionally where all professional categories are valuable in creating the best conditions for the safety of care recipients and relatives, and where you as a nurse are the spider in the web. You collaborate both internally and externally as reporting based on HSL occurs to and from other operations in connection with transfers from the hospital and discharge from the short-term accommodation.

Working as a nursing responsible nurse at the short-term accommodation requires that you can work with a highly variable workload and quickly adjust your work as care recipients moving in have different needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed nurse.
• Has several years of experience working in care and nursing accommodation.
• Has very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Has good IT skills and is accustomed to handling digital systems.

It is an advantage if you have experience working in short-term care and/or are a trained specialist nurse in elderly or district care.

As a nurse, you have a strong commitment to people and a positive outlook. You adapt your approach to the situation and show care for our care recipients. You convey calm and stability and can meet people in different situations in a professional manner. You work in a structured way and feel confident in prioritizing tasks and have the ability to make your own decisions. You should be able to be attentive to our care recipients' needs and have a good attitude. Furthermore, it is important that you are engaged in the work. You have good collaboration skills and can work both independently and in a group.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
