About the position

Roughage and forage cultivation are crucial for both the economy and production in Swedish agriculture. We are now looking for advisors who want to work broadly with crop production issues and who have a particular commitment to forage and feed production.

You will develop closely with both farmers and colleagues in crop production, livestock, and economics. The content of the position can vary from classic crop advisory services to more integrated holistic advice depending on your background and interests.

You will work closely with our field trial operations located at the same workplace, providing unique opportunities to combine the advisory role with being close to the latest research in crop production and its practical application in the field.

Who are you?

You have a strong commitment to the future of agriculture and thrive in a role with many customer contacts. You have a post-secondary education and a burning interest in crop production, aiming to become Sweden's top forage advisor.

Research and trial operations are also conducted at Rådde farm, along with education through Strömma Naturbrukscentrum. The main office is located at the Rural Advisory Center in Länghem, a few miles from Borås. Both Rådgivarna and Hushållningssällskapet are member-driven organizations working for the development of the Swedish countryside.
