About the position

We are now looking for several vehicle testers for a client in Strängnäs. In this role, you will test and inspect vehicles to ensure functionality, safety, and quality before delivery or after repair. The positions are full-time based in Strängnäs and start according to agreement. We are looking for several individuals with a practical feel for vehicles and attention to detail in their work.

Main responsibilities

• Conduct test drives and functionality tests of passenger and commercial vehicles

• Perform checks on brakes, steering, lighting, tires, and other vehicle functions

• Document detected faults and deviations and report to the responsible technician or supervisor

• Collaborate with the workshop and quality team to verify actions and repairs

• Follow checklists and internal procedures for safety and quality

• Participate in simpler diagnostics and provide feedback in business or case management systems

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with vehicles, e.g., as a test driver, technician, or similar

• Good understanding of vehicle mechanics and experience with test driving

• Swedish in speech and writing; English is an advantage

• Good communication and documentation skills

• Driving license B is required (Manual)

• Experience working with checklists, quality assurance, or diagnostic tools is an advantage

• Responsible and confident in traffic situations

• Flexible and accustomed to handling multiple tasks simultaneously
