About the workplace
Ersta Hospital is part of Ersta Diakoni and is Sweden's largest non-profit hospital with a clear value base – to see the person. With roots dating back to 1851, we have provided healthcare in Stockholm, but we welcome patients from all over the country. Here we offer high-quality, specialized healthcare with both breadth and expertise.
Ersta Trauma Treatment has an agreement with Region Stockholm for the treatment of patients with PTSD due to war, torture, migration-related events, and sexual violence. Our workgroup consists of psychologists, social workers, psychiatrists, operational coordinators, and physiotherapists.
As an employee with us, we offer a range of benefits that we hope will give you the conditions to thrive at work and have a fulfilling leisure time.
About the role
As a licensed physiotherapist, you will independently treat patients within the framework of the PTSD assignment and be an important part of the multidisciplinary team working with the patient.
A central part of the role as a physiotherapist is to help patients stabilize and regulate stress- and trauma-related symptoms and reactions through body-focused interventions to reduce suffering, regain trust and safety in the body, and increase functionality in daily life.
Currently, physiotherapy is primarily conducted individually, but group therapy may be relevant in the future. Access to a nearby gym within wellness services is available.
The position is a one-year temporary contract with a full-time workload of 100%. You will work independently in your role at the clinic, but with the opportunity to collaborate with other units within Ersta Hospital and physiotherapists present there.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who is confident in their professional role and enjoys working as part of a team. You are flexible and highly engaged. You have an interest in improvement work and collaboration across professional boundaries, possess good teamwork skills, are attentive, and communicate constructively.
You share Ersta's value base of seeing the whole person and our value words; professionalism, trust, and hope.
Your experience
We are looking for someone who:
is a licensed physiotherapist or specialist physiotherapist

We view positively if you also:
