Your new job
As an operations technician focused on security, you will be responsible for ensuring that the municipality's security systems in our properties function correctly and meet applicable laws and regulations. The work includes operation, supervision, troubleshooting, and minor changes to fire alarms, access control systems, intrusion alarms, and sprinklers. The role also involves collaboration with other operations technicians within the property sector, where you will have the opportunity to gain and develop fundamental knowledge in ventilation, heating, and control systems. The role also includes supporting operations through internal training, technical advice, and participation in inspections, reviews, and systematic fire protection work.
- Operation, supervision, and maintenance of fire alarms, access control systems, intrusion alarms, and sprinkler systems
- Troubleshooting, fault correction, and minor adjustments in the systems
- Documentation of controls, actions, and deviations
- Participate in inspections, tests, and regulatory checks
- Support operations with internal training and technical advice
- Participate in systematic fire protection work (SBA)
Your qualifications
Requirements
We are looking for someone who meets the following:
- Experience in the operation and maintenance of fire alarms, access control systems, intrusion alarms, and sprinkler systems
- Ability to troubleshoot, make minor adjustments, and document actions correctly
- Technical education in electrical engineering, property management, automation, or security, or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of laws and regulations regarding security and fire protection (e.g., LSO, BBR, SBF regulations, MSB)
- Pedagogical ability to train and support internal staff and operations as needed
- Structured, responsible, and solution-oriented
- Good collaboration skills and ability to communicate clearly
- Driver's license (B)
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Desirable qualifications
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience from municipal or public operations
- Knowledge of and experience with integrated property systems
- Previous work with standby services or on-call
- Experience with regulatory inspections, testing, and reviews
- Certifications or training in security systems or fire protection
