Voith Hydro Västerås (VHV) is groundbreaking and represents the present and future of hydropower in Scandinavia. Founded in 2002, Voith Hydro Västerås has become one of the largest suppliers of hydropower equipment in Scandinavia, with facilities in both Västerås and Kristinehamn.

Our products include new generators, complete restoration of hydropower generators and turbines, as well as upgrades and modernization of hydropower plants. Additionally, we can offer inspections, commissioning, and many other services to our hydropower customers.

The VHV service team has become market leaders in Sweden regarding hydropower generators in recent years. We have completed hundreds of assignments of various scopes since 2002. About the role:

As an assembly leader for generator/turbine at Voith Hydro, you will be an important part of a team leading the work during renovations and installations of new units on generators or turbines within hydropower. This includes, among other things, disassembly and assembly of components. With your leadership skills, you will carry out the work efficiently and accurately. You have an overall view and are responsible for work/staff/safety on site. The work takes place on-site both in Sweden and internationally with our customers, and we work according to the project's design. The role involves approximately +150 travel days per year, which therefore requires flexibility and a willingness to travel a lot for work.
