As a technician, you will have a varied job where new technology constantly presents us with new challenges. If you are new to the profession, you will initially work with lighter service tasks and receive more advanced assignments as you are trained and learn the trade. If you already have extensive experience and knowledge, we highly value that and you will be faced with more complex tasks right away.

As a vehicle technician, you will work with:

• Diagnostics and troubleshooting of cars

• Service work

• Repair work

• Has a technical education, preferably in vehicle technology or has work experience as a mechanic or technician

• Good knowledge of automotive electronics or technical expertise in another area such as electrical, installation, or programming

• Holds a B driver's license

• Has good computer skills as mechanics use computers for troubleshooting and retrieving instructions
