We are now looking for a driver for our piece department where we distribute pallets and packages for DHL in Borås and surrounding areas. Are you a reliable and service-oriented driver who enjoys order, structure, and customer contact? Then this could be the job for you.

About the position:

In this role, you will work with the distribution of piece goods for DHL, based at DHL's terminal in Borås.

• Working hours: Daytime, Monday to Friday.
• Employment type: Full-time

Requirements:

• C license
• Valid YKB
• Swedish spoken and written.
• CE license is a plus

We are looking for someone who is self-driven, meticulous, and has a structured approach to work. You load smartly and know that good planning is the key to punctual deliveries.

You have good physical fitness; even though the job involves a lot of driving, strength and mobility are required for loading and unloading.

As a person, you are service-oriented and communicative. You enjoy customer contact and understand the importance of good service, as you represent Stures Åkeri to our customers. You are responsible, stress-resistant, and work well both independently and in a team.

About Stures Åkeri:

Stures Åkeri was founded in 1966 by Sture Magnusson in Borås. The business started with a single truck operating the route Borås–Alingsås for the then ASG.

By 1988, the company had grown to four truck and trailer combinations. At that time, Sture chose to scale down, and the company was sold to Fristad Express – who also drove for ASG. In 1999, the fleet had grown to 13 vehicles, and we took over the distribution in the Borås area for ASG. In 2005, the business expanded further with 8 vehicles, and we also began to drive distribution in Mark and Bollebygd. This part of the business now encompasses about 40 vehicles.

In 2002, we started our part traffic between Borås and Skaraborg with two trailers. Since then, this part of the business has grown significantly and now also covers Småland. The part traffic now employs 15 truck and trailer combinations.

In 2020, we began a collaboration with Borås City to distribute goods in central Borås using electric vehicles. Today, we also drive for DHL in central Borås with electric vehicles, as part of our commitment to sustainable transport.
