Your role

As a Welding Responsible (IWS), you will be an important part of our team and contribute with your technical expertise. You will be responsible for developing and adapting welding procedures based on materials and manufacturing techniques, as well as ensuring that documentation, standards, and customer requirements are met. By conducting welding tests and analyzing any deviations, you contribute to maintaining and improving the quality of our processes. The role also includes supporting and training production staff in welding-related issues and collaborating with the team to ensure that quality and safety requirements according to ISO 3834 and EN 1090 are met. You will work throughout LKAB Mekaniska (at MCV within LKAB's area, at Lastvägen, and support our production managers in the field).

We are looking for someone with experience in welding and a genuine interest in technology and quality. To succeed in the role, we are looking for a person who is structured, collaborative, and has a strong ability to solve problems. Requirements for the position:

Upper secondary education with a focus on welding or mechanics, or equivalent experience if you have not had that educational focus
Completed IWS training (International Welding Specialist)
Experience in welding and an understanding of ISO 3834 and EN 1090
Fluent in Swedish and able to communicate in English
Driving license B
