Protoma is growing and is now looking for a driven and committed workshop technician to be part of the workshop in Luleå.

The Luleå unit aims to provide the industry and construction sector in Norrland with local service of high quality and availability. The workshop currently consists of three parts:

A hydraulic workshop where we manufacture and renovate hydraulic cylinders for the industry and construction companies.

A service workshop that is also an authorized service partner for mobile cranes from brands such as HIAB, Pallfinger, and Fassi. Additionally, there is a Parker Store with products in hydraulics, line components, pneumatics, and filtration.

Job Responsibilities

As a workshop technician, you will be part of our team in Luleå and will work with hydraulics and machining. The tasks may vary, but your main responsibility will be to carry out repairs, inspect, and check hydraulic cylinders. You need to be able to perform machining as a lot of new manufacturing is related to the hydraulic cylinders. There may be work at customer sites, including disassembly and assembly.

Personal Qualities

We place great importance on your personal qualities and are looking for someone with a strong interest in hydraulics and machining, as well as a drive for technology, maintenance, and service. It is beneficial if you have experience as a maintenance technician, mechanic, or hydraulic technician. You are responsible, flexible, diligent, and work systematically and methodically to identify the root causes of problems while being organized in your work.

The work will partly be team-based, which requires good collaboration skills, while at the same time, the work is often independent and requires the ability to work on your own. Furthermore, the job requires good social skills to interact well with both customers and colleagues.

What We Are Looking For:

We expect that you have relevant education or work experience in service and maintenance operations. Experience as a vehicle mechanic, workshop technician, and machining is an advantage. We assume that you can express yourself clearly in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
