Modul is looking for welders & machine operators for the sheet metal department

We are seeking employees with experience from the manufacturing industry and an interest in helping to develop production in our factory.

What does your workday look like?

You will participate in daily production alongside your team, both individually and in group work. We have job rotation within the sheet metal department, with varying tasks and collaboration with our painting and assembly departments.

With increasing order intake and more production, we are now looking for welders and machine operators for the sheet metal department.

Together with your colleagues, you are expected to contribute to developing and streamlining processes and finding good work methods to continue developing Modul's production. Your immediate supervisor will be the team leader of the sheet metal department.

Who thrives here?

To fit into the role, we prefer that you have a strong interest in technology and industry. A high school education in automotive, workshop technology, process industry, electrical/automation, or similar is also desirable. To quickly get into the work, it is a great advantage if you have experience working in the industry. It is a merit if you have a forklift license. As a person, you are practical, responsible, enjoy working in efficient teams, quality-conscious, engaged, as well as persistent and meticulous. What do we require from you?

Basic computer skills, knowledge of reading blueprints, and a high school diploma.

Knowledge of industry and machinery is requested by us. It is a merit if you have experience in any of the following: punching machines, fiber lasers, automatic panel benders, automatic press brakes, manual press brakes, welding and grinding robots, manual welding.

You are expected to live, or be prepared to relocate, to Kalix in Norrbotten.
