Your responsibilities:

• Perform repairs, service, and maintenance on various types of rental machines.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose both mechanical and electrical systems, as well as work with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Use both digital and analog diagnostic tools to quickly identify and resolve technical issues.
• Check the machine's external and internal functions, including engine status, battery, hydraulic system, and much more.
• Ensure that the machines are in top condition before being sent to the customer.
• Document work in Renta's administrative systems to manage work orders.

Renta's customers build all sorts of things with their machines. Sometimes they return intact, sometimes not. What they always need, however, is a little care and love. You receive, assess the condition of the machines, and service and repair them, sometimes even urgently in the field. You also assist with setups and support other departments, from rental agents to distributors. We help each other, because building is a team sport.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A background in workshops.
• A positive attitude, is outgoing, and service-minded.
• Good technical knowledge in both mechanics and electronics, preferably with experience in machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Good computer skills as you will work in various quoting and order management systems.
• A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement.
• The ability to work independently, be flexible, and take on significant responsibility.

In the role of Workshop Mechanic, you will be a valuable resource in Renta's team, and you will have close collaboration with depot managers, order and transport staff, inside sales representatives, and of course, with the workshop personnel.

Meritorious:

• BE or B96 driving license and forklift certification are meritorious.
• Experience working with lifts, forklifts, or other larger machines.
• Certificates for hot work.
• Experience with diesel engines.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, electricity, and troubleshooting.
• Welding skills.
