The teaching profession is the most fun job in the world! At Arlandagymnasiet, approximately 1300 students study. We offer 11 upper secondary programs, both national and specially designed, and can therefore provide several different educational paths and individual options.

Our annual evaluations show that students and staff are very satisfied with our school. Skilled teachers and the bright and airy premises of the school contribute to this. Not to mention the good climate that exists among the students.

The school is divided into different school units, of which the vocational programs constitute one unit.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Sigtuna Municipality has been granted permission to start a YH education for aircraft technicians at Arlanda Airport. Previously, Arlandagymnasiet has been conducting aircraft technician training for mechanics at the airport. Become part of our wonderful team in the aircraft technician training and provide our students with the opportunities to enter an exciting industry that is constantly growing and developing.

We are now looking for someone who wants to take responsibility for building and establishing a functioning YH education Part-147 in aircraft technology with us.

Arlandagymnasiet is one of the few upper secondary schools that conducts upper secondary aircraft technician education. We offer both apprenticeship and school-based training in our premises located in Kunskapens hus in Märsta and in the SAS hangar at Arlanda Airside. Our education takes place in close collaboration with the aircraft maintenance industry. We are now taking the next step.

Your responsibilities include developing a curriculum for the education, planning and preparing materials and exam questions together with the faculty. You will maintain contact with the Transport Agency, develop LIA placements, procure materials, practical exercises, establish a management group for the YH education, etc. You will work closely with existing and newly recruited staff to build on existing operations to develop something new and exciting!

QUALIFICATIONS

We prefer that you have documented experience from YH education in the field of aircraft technology. If you have good knowledge of regulations part-66 and part-147, it is an advantage. It is important that you have good digital competence so that you can easily learn to master the digital tools we work with in education. You have good theoretical and practical knowledge in aircraft technology and are skilled at conveying this knowledge in a communicative, clear, and structured manner. You need to be proactive and resourceful and be used to taking the lead and bringing projects to completion. A B driver's license is also required for the position as work takes place both at the school and at Arlanda Airport.

You are reliable and solution-oriented. In your work, you follow a clear process, you organize and plan your work well, complete what you have started, and meet deadlines.

You are collaborative, attentive, and communicate clearly.
