The Region Properties unit has the main task of offering its tenants operationally adapted and suitable premises.

Region Blekinge manages approximately 300,000 m2 of space, primarily distributed across hospitals and health centers. The unit has about 40 employees who work with property management, planned maintenance, and new construction and renovations.

In the coming ten years, we will further develop both working methods and technology, as well as carry out a large number of reinvestments to meet future needs. About the Job

You will belong to the construction technology department, where we currently have about ten employees. We currently consist of a department head, a technical manager, two project managers with a focus on construction, one focused on electrical, and one focused on HVAC, a construction manager with coordination responsibility for the intrapreneurial department, three carpenters, and one painter. In parallel with this recruitment, we are also recruiting a construction project manager focused on HVAC and a technical manager. The department will then consist of fourteen employees, including the department head. The reason for the recruitment need is to meet a larger investment in both renovation projects and planned maintenance.

Our team is engaged in the work and always has good quality in focus. Our main task is planned maintenance and renovations. It is important for us to have good collaboration within the group. We care about each other and have an open atmosphere. We strive to deliver good service to all our customers and colleagues.

Your place of work will be in Karlskrona, but there are also offices in Karlshamn. The work area covers all of Blekinge.

About You

We are looking for someone with experience in the construction sector, leadership, and electrical work. You are a good communicator as you will be responsible for coordinating internal and external contacts in the project manager role. The project manager role requires a person who is driven, results-oriented, and responsible. You should be accustomed to having a leading role and have good experience coordinating a group and driving it towards a common goal. You should have good technical knowledge and be analytical and structured.

You should have a degree in electrical engineering at the university level or experience deemed equivalent. We consider previous experience as a designer or having had overall responsibility in the construction process within electrical work as a merit.

As travel is required for the position, you must have a B driver's license. Our corporate language is Swedish, and you should be able to express yourself well in both spoken and written form. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Region Blekinge places all permanent employees in a crisis management position. Some of our positions are security classified, where the employee must undergo a security clearance interview and background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).

The organization of Region Blekinge is divided into six areas of responsibility, one of which is regional services. Here, there are combined resources for regional properties, property technology, cleaning, logistics, meal service, central storage, and customer service. The main task of regional services is to own, manage, and develop Region Blekinge's properties and rented premises. The area also provides and develops service functions within cleaning, meal, material, and textile supply.
