Land and Development Unit

The Land and Development Unit is part of the Technical, Leisure, and Cultural Administration in Ronneby municipality. The unit works with new construction projects and renovation projects of municipal premises, construction projects, as well as land for business and residential purposes. The unit is also responsible for the purchase and sale of land for various purposes, signing land allocation agreements, development agreements, and dialogues with property developers, entrepreneurs, etc. GIS coordination for the municipal group, measurement, and municipal land management are also part of the unit's mission.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for two project managers who want to help drive projects in community building:

• Construction Project Manager – A position focused on construction and property-related projects.
• Project Manager for Land/Construction – A position focused on development and investment projects in land, streets, and infrastructure.

In both roles, you will plan, lead, and execute construction and infrastructure projects of various sizes and complexities, focusing on their respective areas. The roles involve leading projects from feasibility study and design to implementation and final inspection. Being a project manager in the Land and Development Unit involves a lot of collaboration and cooperation with other departments, such as the Planning Unit, Property Department, and Street/Park Department, municipal companies, and other operations within the municipality. You are responsible for ensuring that projects are carried out according to budget, schedule, safety, quality, and environmental requirements. You will:

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while handling other assignments and tasks that the roles entail.
• Work with implementation and property law issues in the detailed planning process.
• Procure contractors and other suppliers according to LOU and follow up on their work.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute your expertise in construction matters or land and property law issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with interest, knowledge, and experience in community building who can complement our team with your experiences and personality.

• Relevant education in construction production, construction technology, surveying, road and water, property law, construction, or other equivalent education.
• Experience in managing projects from start to finish in construction, land development, or construction.
• Knowledge in construction technology, cost estimation, design, and procurement.
• You are confident in making decisions, curious, driven, and solution-focused.
• You are flexible and adaptable and find it rewarding to explore new subject areas.
• You have good communication skills and express yourself well in both spoken and written language.
• You are a team player who values openness, collaboration, and accountability.

Desirable qualifications: Knowledge of LOU, property law issues, experience with AutoCad or similar.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
