Project Manager Infrastructure

We are now looking for a project manager to join our growing infrastructure team who wants to continue their professional development with us.

Job Description

As a project manager in the engineering firm's infrastructure team, you will work as a consultant based in our office in Karlskrona. We are a team of experienced colleagues who are happy to support each other when needed. Throughout the engineering firm, we have a culture where it is easy to exchange experiences.

In this role, you will work as a project or construction manager depending on the nature of the project. You will be responsible for monitoring design issues, finances, scheduling, quality, environmental and occupational health and safety matters, and coordination between operations and production. You will drive your assignments independently and freely with a large degree of autonomy.

Your projects can range from industrial and defense facilities to water and sewage construction, roads, bridges, quays, and energy projects. The projects may involve early stages, feasibility studies, or already fully designed projects. Regardless of the assignment, there is experience in the company with similar projects, and we are happy to share our knowledge.

Work is primarily conducted Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 16:30. You have great freedom to plan your own time and where you work. Here, it is the project's needs, combined with your conditions, that set the boundaries.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone with several years of experience in independently planning and leading infrastructure projects. The formal requirements for the position are:

• At least three years of experience in planning and leading infrastructure projects.
• Good understanding of the construction process with associated industry and regulatory requirements.
• Good familiarity with document management in projects as well as good knowledge of AMA construction and contract law as well as LOU/LUF.
• Driving license B

We view relevant education positively – for example, a master's degree in engineering or a three-year construction engineering degree, but this is not a requirement.

It is an advantage if you have experience working as a consultant, client, or contractor, as well as if you have worked in the early stages of the construction process, with feasibility studies or tender documents. If you have previous experience in quality work, Bas-P/U, or are certified in APV (Work on Roads) or Safe Excavation, this is also a plus.

We are looking for someone who enjoys handling a wide variety of challenges, adapts easily to changing conditions, and has good experience managing clients at different levels. With experience in leading and organizing groups and an ability to understand people, you create security and engagement in your work. You deliver high quality and are keen on building good relationships.
