One of our rock truck drivers has chosen to move on to new challenges, and therefore we are looking for you who want to step into this role.

As a rock truck driver, you will be responsible for driving and handling the rock truck in connection with the transport of rock materials within the work area. The work is carried out in close collaboration with other machine operators and management to ensure an efficient and safe production flow.

Before and after driving, you will perform simple maintenance/supervision such as checking fluid levels, filters, and functional checks of equipment, etc.

The work is conducted Monday to Friday in two shifts.

Desired qualities and skills of the applicant:

• B Driving License

• Self-driven

• Structured

Experience in similar tasks and a wheel loader license may be advantageous.

A probationary period of 6 months applies.

Schweden Splitt AB is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Basalt Actien Gesellschaft (BAG) in Germany. Here in Sweden, we conduct quarry operations in Elleholm, beautifully located on the Baltic Sea coast in Karlshamn municipality. Our facility can currently produce up to one million tons per year, and we have about 25 people at the workplace.

The products are sold locally with delivery by truck, but the majority of the production is shipped abroad and delivered by ships loaded at the company's own port next to the quarry. The company is Sweden's largest exporter of crushed rock products for construction purposes, with customers ranging from Estonia in the north to Denmark in the west.
