About the position

We are now looking for a housekeeping assistant at 80%.

It is important to clarify that this position is fundamentally an operational role as a hotel cleaner. The majority of the working hours consist of cleaning hotel rooms and common areas, just like a regular hotel cleaner.

In addition, the position has an extended responsibility with a responsibility allowance, where you work closely with the head housekeeper and support her in the daily work. In the head housekeeper's absence, you are expected to act as the head housekeeper, including leading and distributing the work. The position also involves working every other weekend.

The position may also require you to drive the hotel's shuttle bus when needed, for example, to transport guests to and from the airport terminal.

Job responsibilities

  • Cleaning hotel rooms and the hotel's common areas (main job responsibility)
  • Acting as head housekeeper in case of absence or extended leave
  • Room inspections (weekends and in the absence of the head housekeeper)
  • Training new staff (weekends and in the absence of the head housekeeper)
  • Purchasing cleaning equipment and materials (in the absence of the head housekeeper)
  • Organizing, distributing, and leading the daily work (weekends and in the absence of the head housekeeper)
  • Working every other weekend

Requirements:

  • Driver's license (B)
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish (spoken and written)
  • Good knowledge of English (spoken)
  • Basic computer skills, able to send emails, enter statistics in Excel, and make orders on digital platforms.
